This is a guide for Tanks, Healers, and DPS. This is the seventh boss in Throne of Thunder and the first boss in the Halls of the Flesh-Shaper LFR. It consists of the boss in the middle of the platform and two main mechanics that, when done incorrectly, can easily wipe a raid.
Hard Stare will be cast on the tank. It leaves two debuffs; one that will reduce healing done to that tank by 10% and stacks and another that does 22k DPS to the tank until they are healed to full health. Tank swap at 5 stacks of Serious Wound and healers, heal the tank up after Hard Stare is cast.
When you get Lingering Gaze on you, a purple puddle is about to drop where you’re standing. You can kite a purple puddle away from the group before it lands. Don't stand in purple puddles that were already dropped.
Force of Will on random player (cone of purple-black smoke on the ground) - will stun you if you stand in it.
Three different beams of light will fixate on 3 random players. If you get a beam on you, you have to run around the room to reveal your colored Fog monster. If you have the red beam on you, circle the platform with that beam until the red monster appears (Crimson Fog). If you have the blue beam on you, you do the same thing: circle the platform with that beam until the blue monster appears (Azure Fog). If you have the yellow beam on you, you don’t need to do anything. The beam will un-fixate off of you and circle the room at its own pace until it reveals the Amber Fog. All the Fogs will be near the edge of the platform, but to reveal the monster quickly, you can circle the boss with your beam near the center of the platform to make a tighter and faster circles.
When Disintegration Beam starts to cast, stop what you’re doing. Blue-black smoke starts to cover the floor of the room, circling the platform from where it dropped first. This smoke, Eye Sore, will kill you if you stand in it. There will be two clear pathways through the black smoke that you can run through. To find where the safe pathways will start, look for purple squiggling lines on the ground while the smoke is filling up the room and run there. One safe pathway through the smoke will at the edge of the platform for ranged and the other will be in melee distance. The ranged pathway is much easier to see. Because this phase is so fatal, even if you’re melee, it might be worth going to the ranged pathway just to survive. Also, don't get hit by the laser beam (Disintegration Beam) in front of the boss while doing this because it will one shot you.
