Throne of Thunder LFR Dark Animus Video Guide

This is a guide for Tanks, Healers, and DPS.  This is the ninth boss in Throne of Thunder and the last boss in the Halls of the Flesh-Shaper LFR.  It consists of the boss and three types of robots around the room that will activate throughout the fight.

Begin the fight stacked up on the stairs at the entrance to the room.  Kill the floating orb to start the encounter.  AOE down all the Small Anima Golems quickly, then spread out immediately when the Large Anima Golems activate.  Inactive golems activate when a golem dies near them.  While spread out, kill the Large Anima Golems.  When the Massive Anima Golems spawn, single target them down immediately and go back to any still-surviving Large Anima Golems.  Around now, the boss Dark Animus will become activated.  Once all the Golems are dead, just kill Dark Animus to finish the fight.

Tanks, when the group is AOEing the Small Anima Golems, just do the same.  When they die, each tank needs to pick up 3-4 of the Large Anima Golems and kite them around the room.  Don’t stop moving because you’ll get hit with Crimson Wake, a firey circle on the ground that hurts very badly.  Healers and DPS will need to look out for this too.
When the Massive Anima Golems activate, each tank needs to pick one up and continue to kite around the room avoiding Crimson Wakes until all the Large Anima Golems are killed.  One tank will need to pick up the boss when it activates, even if you still have a Massive golem on you.  Whichever tank’s Massive Anima Golem dies first will need to take the boss from the other tank.  When the DPS finish off both Massive Anima Golems, focus the boss down.
Whichever tank isn’t tanking anything when just the boss is alive has one more responsibility: You’ll need to “pop” the orbs of the Anima Ring that is placed around the tank who is tanking the boss.  The boss-tank will then need to run out of the Anima Ring through the gap made by the other tank.
Healers, you’re going to be using most of your mana and all of your major cooldowns near when the Large and Massive Golems have activated.  This is the most difficult part of the encounter for your raid to get through, and it’s important to keep the tanks alive.  If necessary, assign specific tank-healers to both tanks.  Once the Golems are dead and only Dark Animus remains, you’ll be healing periodic damage through Interrupting Jolt.  When you see this about to hit, cease casting (instant-casts only) or it will lock you out of casting for 10 seconds while damaging the raid.  This isn’t difficult to heal though, so don’t plan on saving mana from the difficult trash phase.
DPS, just to recap, you’ll need to AOE small adds, then spread out as quickly as possible and kill the Large Anima Golems.  Keep moving!  Avoid the Crimson Wakes on the ground.  When Massive Anima Golems activate, use Bloodlust, Heroism, or Timewarp and burn down the Massive Anima Golems fast.  Clean up any other golems and kill the boss.

Throne of Thunder LFR Primordius Video Guide

This is a guide for Tanks, Healers, and DPS.  This is the eighth boss in Throne of Thunder and the second boss in the Halls of the Flesh-Shaper LFR.  It consists of a mutated Saurok boss and a bunch of oozes that will spawn and try to buff him.

Tanks, pull the boss from one of the pools around the edge of the room and kite him around the outer part of the room as I do here.  This is important because it will prevent the boss from gaining buffs too quickly, which we’ll explain more later.
DPS, never go in front of the boss because he does an AoE cone attack called Primordial Strike that will hurt badly.
Tanks, he will apply a DoT to the current tank called Malformed Blood.  You will need to tank swap at 7 stacks of this debuff.  If you aren’t currently tanking Primordius, run around and kill oozes to gain big buffs and turn into a Saurok, which we’ll explain next.

DPS, you’ll need to turn yourself into a Saurok to do full damage to the boss.  Kill the oozes, called Living Fluids, then stand in the red Mutagenic Pool they leave behind to get a helpful Mutation. At 10 helpful mutations, you will turn into a Saurok and can do full damage to the boss and you will have various helpful buffs.  Use your Bloodlust, Heroism, or Timewarp when most of the DPS have turned into Sauroks.
Do not absorb more pools when fully mutated or you’ll start getting debuffs.  After 2 minutes when your buffs fall off and you transform back, absorb more pools again.
Healers, you can also absorb the buffs from Mutagenic Pools.  Stand in them to receive 10 buffs and turn into a Saurok to maximize heals.  Also healers, only dispel a player if most of their mutations are harmful.
One last thing, no one stand in the purple Volatile Pools because they hurt and give you a harmful mutation.

Throne of Thunder LFR Durumu the Forgotten Video Guide

This is a guide for Tanks, Healers, and DPS.  This is the seventh boss in Throne of Thunder and the first boss in the Halls of the Flesh-Shaper LFR.  It consists of the boss in the middle of the platform and two main mechanics that, when done incorrectly, can easily wipe a raid.

Hard Stare will be cast on the tank.  It leaves two debuffs; one that will reduce healing done to that tank by 10% and stacks and another that does 22k DPS to the tank until they are healed to full health.  Tank swap at 5 stacks of Serious Wound and healers, heal the tank up after Hard Stare is cast.

When you get Lingering Gaze on you, a purple puddle is about to drop where you’re standing.  You can kite a purple puddle away from the group before it lands.  Don't stand in purple puddles that were already dropped.

Force of Will on random player (cone of purple-black smoke on the ground) - will stun you if you stand in it.

Three different beams of light will fixate on 3 random players.  If you get a  beam on you, you have to run around the room to reveal your colored Fog monster.   If you have the red beam on you, circle the platform with that beam until the red monster appears (Crimson Fog).  If you have the blue beam on you, you do the same thing: circle the platform with that beam until the blue monster appears (Azure Fog).  If you have the yellow beam on you, you don’t need to do anything. The beam will un-fixate off of you and circle the room at its own pace until it reveals the Amber Fog.  All the Fogs will be near the edge of the platform, but to reveal the monster quickly, you can circle the boss with your beam near the center of the platform to make a tighter and faster circles.

When Disintegration Beam starts to cast, stop what you’re doing.  Blue-black smoke starts to cover the floor of the room, circling the platform from where it dropped first.  This smoke, Eye Sore, will kill you if you stand in it. There will be two clear pathways through the black smoke that you can run through.  To find where the safe pathways will start, look for purple squiggling lines on the ground while the smoke is filling up the room and run there.  One safe pathway through the smoke will at the edge of the platform for ranged and the other will be in melee distance.  The ranged pathway is much easier to see. Because this phase is so fatal, even if you’re melee, it might be worth going to the ranged pathway just to survive.  Also, don't get hit by the laser beam (Disintegration Beam) in front of the boss while doing this because it will one shot you.

Throne of Thunder LFR Ji-Kun Video Guide

This is a guide for Tanks, Healers, and DPS.  This is the sixth boss in Throne of Thunder and the last boss in the Forgotten Depths LFR.  It consists of the main boss on a platform in the middle of the room and five nests around the room that will spawn birds.

Spread out around the platform - 8 yards apart - to avoid being hit by Caw, which does damage to a player and those around them.  It hurts pretty bad.

There are falling slimes. They are important to intercept because it will give you an increased damage and healing buff and also prevent a green poison pool (Feed Pool) from spawning where they would have landed.  These Feed Pools will spawn because there are simply too many falling slimes for the raid to intercept all of them.  If they become overwhelming around the platform, stand in a Feed Pool for 3 seconds and it will damage you, then disappear.  This is something our group didn’t do too well in this video and people started to stack up, which is why it was such a close kill.

Ji-Kun flings Quills at everyone in the raid which hurts more than any of his other abilities.  Use your healing cooldowns when Ji-Kun uses Quills.

Run to the middle of the platform when Ji-Kun uses Down Draft, which tries to push you off.  If you have any ability to move you forward (like a monk’s Roll, a mage’s Blink, a Paladin’s Speed of Light, etc), use that in order to not fall off the platform.  If you do fall off, don’t worry, you won’t die, it’ll just take you out of the fight for a long time as it pushes you back up onto the platform.

The trickiest part of this fight is the nests below and above the platform.  Before the fight, you’ll need to designate three DPSers and one healer. That group of four will need to jump down on a nest and kill the birds that spawn there ASAP.  The nest that will be spawning birds will have a big pillar of light around it.  After the four designated players kill the birds, they need to pick up the feathers that the birds drop and either fly to another nest with a pillar of light or return to Ji-Kun’s platform if no other nest is spawning birds.  To fly with the feather, click your extra action button.

One last thing, tanks will need to tank-swap the boss when the current tank gets two stacks of Talon Rake.

Throne of Thunder LFR Megaera Video Guide

Hello and welcome to Bryna and Evaly’s Megaera guide for looking for raid in Throne of Thunder.  This is a guide for Tanks, Healers, and DPS.  This is the fifth boss in Throne of Thunder and the second boss in the Forgotten Depths LFR.  It consists of three different-colored immobile heads that, when killed, does damage to the boss itself.  In order to summon this boss, you’ll have to ring three bells placed around the cavern leading up to Megaera.

At the pull, one tank needs to pick up the green head, and the other tank gets the blue head.  When the green head dies for the first time, that tank goes to the far left side to tank the red head.  When the blue head dies for the first time, that tank will now go pick up the green head that will now respawn.  The tanks will continue to ‘rotate’ the heads.  Bottom line on this: If your head dies, go pick up and tank the head that the other tank isn’t tanking.  Healers, when a head dies, Megaera will “Rampage.”  This ability is where you will want to burn your big raidwide healing cooldowns, especially at the end of the fight because Rampage will do more and more damage later in the fight.  Overall, Healers, be sure to save your mana for the end of the fight.

DPS, kill the green head, then the blue head, then the red head, then back to green and so on.  Also DPS, don’t stand in front of any of the heads.  Tanks, turn the head to the side by standing on the little piece of land by the side of the neck.

If you have Ice Beam or Cinders on you, run away from the group.  Healers, you’ll need to dispel Cinders.  One last thing, no one stand in the fire or in the ice on the ground

Throne of Thunder LFR Tortos Video Guide

This is a guide for Tanks, Healers, and DPS.  This is the fourth boss in Throne of Thunder and the first boss in the Forgotten Depths LFR.  It consists of a large turtle boss and a couple adds that he’ll spawn throughout the encounter.

DPS, kill the marked spinning turtle (Whirl Turtle).  Be sure to move out of the spinning turtle’s way if it’s coming in your direction because it does a knockback.  When Whirl Turtle dies, aim and kick the empty shell at the boss using your extra action button.  Aim with the green arrows that will show up between you and the shell.  Be sure to position the shell between you and the boss.  The boss takes 25% more damage for 20 seconds after being hit with a turtle shell.

Tortos does an AOE ability called Quake Stomp. Before Quake Stomp happens, heal up anyone below 30% health or they’ll die. Use your big heal cooldowns after Quake Stomp. The other raid-wide damage will come from Tortos’s Furious Stone Breath ability.  Protip for tanks:  If you can redirect damage to yourself (like a monk’s Avert Harm), use it during Furious Stone Breath or Quake Stomp to make it easier on your healers.

Have the OT pick up bats, otherwise, the OT can just help DPS with the spinning turtles.  DPS, you guys will need to AoE down these Cave Bats.  Healers, keep the OT topped off or the bats will heal themselves.  Last but not least, MT on boss the whole time, just move left or right to avoid the falling stalactites (they show up as a blue circle on the ground before they fall).
